- 2002-11-08: Update: A new XEmacs package
bundle of v4.16 is available for
download, fixing any "autoload" install errors you may
have been seeing.
- 2002-10-24: Version 4.16 is out, primarily
with bug fixes for XEmacs users, but with a few new features
too. Why not let the announcement speak for
itself?
- 2002-09-10: Version 4.15 released, with a
host of new features, including online help for class and
structure tags, auto-querying the class of objects being
used in the shell, conditional breakpoint setting,
configurable shell traffic display, batch filename
completion, and many, many bug-fixes and small improvements.
An XEmacs
package is also now available for download.
- 2002-06-14: Version 4.14 released, with minor
bug-fixes to the examine window and continued indent
calculations.
- 2002-05-15: Version 4.13 released, with
multiple bug fixes, updated and simplified abbreviations,
improved indentation support for multi-line comments and
continued statements, a new mechanism for creating
user-defined "examine" commands, for variable and expression
examination (see the relevant manual section), a "super" examine
command with customizable pop-up command selection, and
more. You can also now peruse my embarrassingly large
.emacs file excerpt
for IDLWAVE.
- 2002-01-14: Version 4.12 released, with minor
bug fixes for method completion with explicitly named class,
and support for file/routine browser
Speedbar. If you're having trouble compiling
or running 4.12, download again and reinstall.
- 2001-12-16: Version 4.11 released, including
configureable treatment of keyword inheritance in methods
which use _EXTRA or _REF_EXTRA to pass
arguments through to their super-classes. This release
contains several bug-fixes, including space padding of
->, and generic END expansion with reserved word
capitalization.
- 2001-12-04: Version 4.10 released, including
full support for IDL v5.5, and a modified version of online
help which includes updated and new routines and keywords
not yet documented in the standard help files (look for the
sections marked with <NEW>...</NEW>).
